Women’s Dusty Blue Steelhead Short Sleeve T Shirt – We’re excited to finally share our women’s tees, designed in support of the water women who spend their time on rivers, coastlines, and cold water tributaries.

Native to cold water systems across North America and Northeast Asia, Steelhead are prized sport fish found from Northern California to Alaska. While they share the same species (Oncorhynchus mykiss) as Rainbow Trout, Steelhead differ in their ocean migration, returning to freshwater to spawn multiple times, unlike their freshwater bound counterparts.

The artwork features a spawning male Steelhead, identified by its distinct hooked jaw to avoid confusion with Rainbow Trout, which can appear similar in illustration. The design remains intentionally simple and color restrained, reflecting the Steelhead’s more muted tones.

As for taste, it’s a toss up. Steelhead carry the richness of ocean run salmon, while Rainbow Trout offer a cleaner, alpine flavor. Both are excellent in their own way.
