Steelhead Short Sleeve T-Shirt in Stone Grey
Stone Grey Steelhead Short Sleeve Tee - locals in the North America and Northeast Asia's cold-water tributaries, are prized sport fish from Northern California to Alaska. They share the species (Oncorhynchus mykiss) with Rainbow Trout but differ in their oceanic migration for 3 to 4 spawning cycles, while Rainbow Trout stay freshwater-bound.
I drew a spawning male Steelhead with its distinct hooked jaw to prevent confusion with Rainbow Trout, which can appear similar in art. The artwork remains simple and color-free, reflecting Steelhead's comparatively muted colors.
As for taste, it's a toss up. Steelhead echo ocean salmon in richness, while Rainbow Trout offer an alpine clean taste, both being delightful in their own way.
