Having fished many different parts of the Pacific Ocean, from Washington to Chile to Japan, and Hawaii, I have encountered and caught many sailfish in the warmer regions. I was taught to catch and release these beautiful fish. Carefully bringing them on to the boat to capture a quick photo, then making sure they could successfully swim away. Their coloring is magnificent and rivals the dorado. This design works to capture their beauty and celebrate this amazing creature.
