The Heather Heavy Metal MTN2SEA Short Sleeve T Shirt is a collaboration with MTN2SEA, a nonprofit doing meaningful work with local youth. All profits from the sale of this tee go directly toward supporting their youth initiatives. This is a long term piece for us, designed to continue giving back with every sale.
I first learned about Brian King’s work with teens around Monterey Bay through my friend Jeff’s podcast, Midlifesurfer. As someone who has worked with teenagers for over 15 years, I understand how important positive guidance is while they’re figuring out the world.
Nature played a big role in my own life growing up. Today, with so much time spent connected to devices, getting outside feels more important than ever. Brian takes teens from tough backgrounds into nature, teaching practical life skills and offering experiences that can make a real difference.
While this is a small step, our hope is that this tee helps fund a few outings for these kids. As our family brand grows, we plan to continue partnering with nonprofits like MTN2SEA in the future.
