Uroko tees are soft, durable, and printed with water-based ink for a clean feel and long life. You can toss your Uroko tee in the wash and it’ll hold up better than most. It’s made to last. But if you’re the type who likes to keep your gear dialed, here are a few extra steps to help it stay looking sharp for the long haul.

1. Wash Cold

Cold water is easier on the fabric and the print. It also helps maintain the shape of your pre-shrunk tee.

2. Use Mild Detergent

Skip the heavy-duty stuff. Gentle detergent helps preserve the water-based ink and keep colors solid.

3. Turn Inside Out

Flip your shirt inside out before washing to reduce rubbing on the print. It’s a simple way to extend the life of the artwork.

4. Avoid Bleach and Harsh Chemicals

These can damage both the fabric and the ink. Stick with the basics.

5. Tumble Dry Low—or Air Dry

Heat breaks down fibers over time. Use low heat or lay flat to dry. Your shirt will hold its fit and color better that way.

6. Don’t Iron the Print

If you iron the shirt, avoid direct contact with the print. Use a cloth between the iron and fabric or skip that area completely.

Why It Matters

Uroko shirts are printed with water-based inks in Santa Cruz, California. They’re built on a soft, breathable 60/40 cotton-poly blend that holds up over time. The modern unisex cut is pre-shrunk, so it fits right from the first wear—just follow the steps above to keep it that way.
